TDS Horse Jump System
Horse Jump is timed event that features a horse and one mounted rider,
running a predefined path and jumping over different obstacles.
Show jumping, also known as “stadium jumping”, “open jumping”, or “jumpers”, is a
member of a family of English riding equestrian events.
It is a relatively new equestrian sport. Until the Inclosure Acts,
which came into force in England in the 18th century, there had been little
need for horses to jump fences routinely, but with this act of Parliament
came new challenges for those who followed fox hounds. The Inclosure Acts
brought fencing and boundaries to many parts of the country as common ground
was dispersed amongst wealthy landowners. This meant that those wishing to
pursue their sport now needed horses that were capable of jumping these obstacles.

The package includes several jump obstacles that can be arranged in an arbitrary
sequence.
As the system has to check if the jumps were passed successfully and in the right
order there is a notecard in each jump. The name of the notecard is the number
ob the jump in the sequence, starting with 0. This means that the first jump
has to have a notecard inside named “0”, the second jump a notecard named “1”, etc.
The total number has to be configured in the starter controller, where you will find
a notecard that contains the number of jumps, e.g. 6 if there are 6 jumps on track.

TDS Pole Bending System
Pole bending is timed event that features a horse and one mounted rider,
running a weaving or serpentine path around six poles arranged in a line.
Good horsemanship is the foundation for success in pole bending and barrel
racing. The horse and rider team must work as one in order to excel. Various
methods are implemented in pole bending from the “slalom” approach to the
“side pass” approach. Depending on the horse/ rider combination, the rider
needs to experiment to see what method works best for their application.
Each contestant will begin from a running start, and time shall begin and
end as the horse crosses the line.
A horse may start either to the right or to the left of the first pole and
then run the remainder of the pattern accordingly.
A contestant may touch a pole with his or her hand in pole bending.

TDS Barrel Race System
Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete
a clover-leaf pattern around preset barrels in the fastest time.
It combines the horse’s athletic ability and the horsemanship skills of a rider
in order to safely and successfully maneuver a horse through a clover leaf pattern
around three barrels placed in a triangle in the center of an arena.
In timed rodeo events, the purpose is to make a run as fast as possible
The timer begins when horse and rider cross the start line, and ends when the barrel
pattern has been successfully executed and horse and rider cross the finish line.
